Get Started with File Management In-Person
Good file management skills enables you to stay organised, manage your work and find misplaced files.
The Digital Skills Centre is located in the Business School (previously Learning Resources Centre/LRC), located on the corner of Keyworth Street and Borough Road), Digital Skills Centre, Ground Floor, Room Three.

What will be covered:-
- Introduction to the Windows OS and File Explorer
- Recognise common file types
- Types of storage devices (hard disk, USB drive etc)
- Create and manage files and folders
- Rename files and folders
- Navigate to a file or folder on a drive
- Move, copy, pasted files and folders
- Sort files by name, size, type, date modified
- Utilise the Search command to find misplaced files
- Delete file and folders
- Access the Recycle Bin to restore or delete files from your computer
