Drug Dosage Calculations in Health Care Level 2 drop-in (Online) Online
These sessions are an opportunity for you to go through questions or topics which you bring to the session, with a member of the Skills for Success maths team.
The focus is on more advanced drug dosage calculations which you are typically introduced to in the second or third year of a nursing course at LSBU. This includes:
- calculating IV drip rates
- calculating IV drop rates
- working with drug concentrations expressed as % w/v and as a ratio
- Non-Medical Prescribing calculations
No booking is required: simply join using the Teams link provided below, at any time during the drop-in hour (preferably using your LSBU account to access the session).
Please note this is a Q&A session - no teaching material is being delivered.
If you have a particular question, it would be helpful if you type or paste it into the comments of the Teams meeting whilst it is running. The tutor will select questions or topics to go through which they think will be of most benefit to the majority of those attending.
