- How to recognise primary and secondary research and understand the difference between qualitative and quantitative research methods
- How to apply a critical appraisal checklist (e.g. CASP) to the process of evaluating the quality of a journal article
- Understanding that journal articles will have strengths and weaknesses and recognising the significance of different types of bias in scientific research
This workshop will take place in LSBU Hub Training Room 2 on Level 3 of the LSBU Hub building at Southwark campus and is open to all students across all courses and at all levels.
